Warminster revisited

After a lot of visits from different people it was my turn to go visit somewhere the second week of October. After finally getting permission to leave York I managed to organise a visit to all my schools and to see a lot of my friends in Warminster. It was lovely to come back and to see that not much had changed since I left in May. The biggest change I saw was that the phone shop had moved a few hundred metres down the street!

It was really great to see all my colleagues and pupils again! I really miss my teaching and it really impressed me to see that a lot of them remembered quite a few words. One class even remembered "God morgen alle sammen" and listening to them sing it almost brought tears to my eyes.

Not only did I get to see familiar things but I also got to see some new things. Saturday was spent visiting Alfred's Tower, Glastonbury Tower, finishing off with a walk around lovely Bath. Sunday I finally got my pictures of the Westbury White Horse. :-)

Tittei!

Klem
