Last semester (continued)

In the end of October I went to Warminster (which I'm really surprised to see I've actually managed to write a post about!) October also saw a light festival in York, and the most impressive sight was the light show on the Minster.

November was the time for visits again, and first Iver came up from London for the day. It was the first really cold day of the winter, and the poor southerner was freezing! When he left at night we saw the first snow! I was overexcited about it!! However, it quickly changed in the end of the month when snow proved to make it difficult for my Portuguese visitors...The snow lasted for three weeks, causing complications for a lot of us in returning to Norway. Luckily I'd booked a flight from Manchester so we left the country on time! It's amazing how badly the English cope with the snow...

The Christmas party in Southport is becoming a tradition and although we were missing one person it turned out great this year too! This time the see was luckily not in in Southport and I was extremely pleased to see my friends were telling me the truth. You can hardly see it on a normal day!

We managed to get a glimpse of the Christmas market in Manchester too, which was big! A proper German market.
