Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Sometimes it's good to have connections, and in January I was allowed to come along on a trip with the University of York to Yorkshire Sculpture Park. It was a wet and a little bit cold, but very enjoyable experience.

It's a huge park where the exhibitions are changed on a regular basis. When we were there they had an exhibition by David Nash and Barbara Hepworth, amongst others. The size of the sculptures were impressive! But the question we asked as we walked around was how can artists live of this? They're way too big for a private person to buy them!
